Common Spaces
The Hummingbird House offers multiple common areas. The first consists of an exquisite drawing room that boasts bold notes of the past with a modern touch. In addition, guests can explore several conversation areas, workspaces, a puzzle table, and a hospitality bar.
The second area is called the atrium and features a long bar table that overlooks the river and a cozy reading nook. Perfect for a leisurely cup of coffee/tea, or a great work station for catching up on your laptop.
Hummingbird House also offers an inviting veranda and second-story balcony, which provide both floors with a lovely area for outside reading, coffee or wine sipping, scenic meditation, or even small gatherings.
As of this writing, the gardens are no more than luscious soil, retaining walls, and hardscaping, but they will soon be filled. Hummingbird House is committed to the year-round support of native pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and all their feathered friends. Designed by Gleim, an Australian garden will provide winter support specifically for our beautiful hummingbirds.
