Common Spaces

The Hummingbird House offers multiple common areas. The first consists of an exquisite drawing room that boasts bold notes of the past with a modern touch. In addition, guests can explore several conversation areas, workspaces, a puzzle table, and a hospitality bar.

The second area is called the atrium and features a long bar table that overlooks the river and a cozy reading nook.  Perfect for a leisurely cup of coffee/tea, or a great work station for catching up on your laptop.

Hummingbird House also offers an inviting veranda and second-story balcony, which provide both floors with a lovely area for outside reading, coffee or wine sipping, scenic meditation, or even small gatherings.

Hummingbird House is dedicated to supporting native pollinators year-round, including bees, butterflies, and their feathered friends. Our thoughtfully designed garden ensures a thriving habitat, with special winter provisions to sustain our cherished hummingbirds.

While we do not have an onsite front desk, the house is equipped with video surveillance for our guests’ protection. Reach out to your host with any questions, recommendations, or concerns. Lastly, we kindly ask that pets in both interior and exterior common areas remain leashed and off furniture out of mutual respect for all guests.
